As part of their PSHE work, year 8 students invited speakers from the charity RETHINK into the school. This mental health charity works at raising awareness of mental health issues and support people of all ages who are suffering from mental health problems.

The students were eager to help other students realise that the stereotyping of this issue needs to be challenged as 1 in 4 of us will suffer from a mental health issues at one point in our life.

The students not only organised the assembly but they used their lessons to produce a presentation that everyone in the school watched through their tutor time.
